Geography of India and West Bengal: General geography and geographical division of West Bengal and its major river systems:

Questions will relate to physical, social and economic geography of the country including the main features of Indian agricultural and natural resources.

Most of the questions will be asked related to particular industries and their location so, mapping work is very important to understand the basic requirement of Geography preparation.

In mains examination, you will have total of eight papers:

In mains examination of six compulsory papers, four are of multiple choice question types .This Includes:

 General Studies- I

 General Studies- II

 The Constitution of India and Indian Economy including role and functions of Reserve Bank of India.

 Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning.

 Candidates should note that optional paper is meant for those candidates only who are giving examination for group A and group B of WBCS.
