After going through this course you will be able to: - understand how computers work; - work with the open source Operating System- Ubuntu; - use open source office tools LibreOffice Writer, Calc and Impress for your day to day work; - introduce automation in your library using open source library automation packages such as Koha; and - use Internet and web 2.0 tools to provide day to day library services to your clientele.
